Watching your spiritual life
I Cor. 16:13-14, “Watch, stand fast in the faith, be brave, be strong.
Let all that you do be done with love.”
I think we all will agree that we are living in the last days. Things
are happening fast around us that point to the soon return of the Lord.
Mark 13:32-33, “But of that day and hour no one knows, not
even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. Take heed, watch and
pray; for you do not know when the time is,”
In Matthew 25 Jesus
tells us about the ten virgins that went out to meet the bridegroom. The Bible says that they all slumbered and
slept. We all know what happens, but at
the very end of the story Jesus said this, “Watch therefore for you know
neither the day nor the hour in which the Son of man is coming.”
We have got to be vigilant and never be complacent! You never know what and how the enemy would
plan to spoil the joy, happiness, and peace, to rob you of your eternal reward. Never let your guard down.
Watch your thought. They become words!
Watch your word. They become actions!
Watch your actions. They become habits!
Watch your habits.
They become character!
Watch your character. It becomes your destiny!
Micah 6:8, “He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord
require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with
your God?”
